Urine testing and fecal exams are non-invasive tests in your pet’s annual exam that provides a lot of information about urinary, intestinal and general health. Intestinal parasites can cause significant disease in dogs and even affect public health (transmission to people). Therefore, early detection and treatment are very important.
Below are some important updates to our operating policies.
1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!
2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
We are continuing with our "closed hospital" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us. We will take a history of your pet's health and discuss any concerns. A staff member will direct you either to the back door located at the back of the parking lot if your pet is a dog. This is where you will open the door and tether your dog to the wall on the inside with the leash provided or for our cat friends the assistant will direct you to leave your cat at the front door in their carrier. The Veterinarian will call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to the same place that you originally placed them at intake. We will take payment over the phone or by e transfer. Medications, food, certificates and all other supplies will be with your pet when you pick them up.
We continue to accept the use of credit cards over the phone or e-transfer as the preferred payment method.
We are continuing with curbside pickup of food and medications (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".
3. ONLINE CONSULTATIONS ARE AVAILABLE
If you wish to connect with a veterinarian via message, phone or video, visit our website and follow the "Online Consultation" link.
