I graduated with honours as a veterinary assistant in 2006. When I joined Centretown Veterinary Hospital I was encouraged to become a registered veterinary technician. I started out taking the Distance Education Program through AAHA and continue to work at CVH. I was able to transfer into the final year at Algonquin College and graduated in 2013.
I worked with Elyse at a previous clinic and also met Dr. Black there when she was a locum vet. I went to CVH shortly after it opened in 2008. My favourite part about working at Centretown Veterinary Hospital is working with the great doctors! Knowing that we are providing excellent care to our patients. I enjoy working at Centretown Veterinary Hospital because of our clients. We have a wide variety of clients and it's clear how much everyone loves their pets and want the best care for them. I specialize in surgery, lab work such as cytology, blood smears and urinalysis.
We had a little cock-a-poo growing up named Poppy.
I speak to all the chihuahuas in a Mexican accent because that's how I think they would sound if they can talk.
