Dr. Karen Sime

Dr. Sime with Sox

Dr. Sime grew up all over the place but her roots are in Oakville, Ontario. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1998. She has lived and worked in Ottawa’s west end for the last 10 years.

Her special interests include surgery, neurology (brain and nervous system), surgery, cardiology (heart) and surgery. She loves surgery.

Karen was adopted by “Sox”, the hospital cat at the practice where she formerly worked and they have been living in absolute bliss ever since.

Dr. Sime has just returned to practice after taking a year sabbatical to travel in the far east which fueled her love of cooking and she is an avid participant and spectator to all forms of Dance but is very involved in the modern dance scene in Ottawa.
