Anaesthesia: Monitoring
At Centretown veterinary hospital, our patients are continuously monitored during anaesthesia. Our technicians combine their own observations of temperature, heart sounds and respiration with blood pressure monitoring, blood oxygen levels and pulse. This allows them to immediately recognize any impending problems and intervene before any serious heath complications ensue. At Centretown Veterinary Hospital, your pet’s anaesthesia is monitored by trained and Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT) as well as their veterinarian.
